The exquisite process
From the summer of 2020 until the end of 2021, I went through a range of physical changes including hair loss, cystic acne, fatigue, insomnia, and drastic changes in my cycle. I had known it was related to my grief and my awakening, but it wasn’t until the other day, when I came across a spiritual text, that I put the pieces together. The text explained that fatigue and physical changes like the ones I endured are signals of the old self dying as the new self is born.
